Location: South Rim, outside the lodge Description: Here we are at the rim just outside the Bright Angel Lodge. It was quite a scene as we sprawled out in the middle of everyone. When people asked if we had really hiked ALL THE WAY to the bottom, we pointed to Ginnie. "She's 76 and she made it." To which Ginnie indignantly replied "I won't be 76 until next week."
