The last 25 ft. of the descent require the most care. The rocks and chains are now wet from the mist from the base of the thundering falls. Gloves definitely would help here, providing a better grip on the chain. That's Dan holding his fishing pole. To give you some perspective on how steep it gets here, that is Edie directly below him. By the way, going up is much easier!
